How to start with Flowtra Pro
Sign up, download the WhatsApp extension, install it in Chrome, and work starts. About 15 minutes. Free for 30 days.
Installation, step by step
Sign up for the free trial
Open Flowtra Pro sign-up. Type your business name, your name, mobile, a username and a password. Keep the tick on sample data if you want to explore first. Press Start free trial. Your own private account opens on the Getting started page. Nobody else can see your data.
Download the extension
On the Getting started page press Download Flowtra extension. Do this on the computer where your business WhatsApp is open in Google Chrome (WhatsApp Web). A zip file is saved in Downloads. Your account address is already inside it.
Unzip it to a folder you keep
Right-click the zip → Extract All (Windows) or double-click it (Mac). Move the folder to a place you will not delete, for example Documents\Flowtra. Chrome uses this folder every day.
Add it to Chrome
Open Chrome and type
chrome://extensionsin the address bar. Switch on Developer mode (top right). Click Load unpacked and choose the folder from the last step (the one with manifest.json inside). The extension appears in the list. Click the puzzle icon at the top right of Chrome and pin it.Sign in to the extension
Click the Flowtra icon. The address is filled in (
https://flowtra.in/Flowtra_Pro). Type the same username and password as the website and press Sign in. Each person who uses WhatsApp Web on their own computer signs in with their own login.Open WhatsApp Web
Open web.whatsapp.com in the same Chrome and scan the QR code with your business phone, as usual. A small “Flowtra on” badge shows at the bottom left. Keep this computer on with Chrome open during work hours.
Work starts
New messages are read within seconds. Orders appear in WhatsApp Inbox and Orders within a minute; messages the AI is not sure about wait for you with the reason. The Getting started page ticks each step off as it happens.
Your team and phones
Add your staff with their own logins (only the rights they need). Open the website on each phone, sign in, and turn on notifications. On iPhone first use Share → Add to Home Screen.
Start for real
When you are happy, press Clear sample data on Getting started (Settings → Clear sample data), then add or import your products, customers and suppliers from Tally. Your logins and settings stay.
How a normal day works
Orders arrive on WhatsApp
Dealer messages, handwritten lists and voice notes become draft orders. You check stock and credit, then confirm. Unclear ones wait in AI not sure with the reason.
Plan and make
Production plan shows what to make and what material is short. Issue material to a location or a worker; record what comes back and the wastage.
Buy and check
Supplier rates told on WhatsApp are saved as price promises. Agreed orders become draft POs. Bills are checked against the PO, promise and last price before stock goes up.
Dispatch
Load by vehicle, attach the builty photo, approve it, share with the customer on WhatsApp.
Bill and collect
GST bill with the credit box, payments, bank matching and reminders. Home shows what needs each person today.
If something does not work
The “Load unpacked” button is not there
Switch on Developer mode at the top right of chrome://extensions.
Chrome says “Manifest file is missing”
You chose the outer folder. Choose the folder that has manifest.json inside it.
No badge on WhatsApp Web
Reload the WhatsApp Web tab after installing the extension. Check the extension is switched on in chrome://extensions.
The badge says “sign in”
Click the extension icon and sign in again with your username and password.
Messages are not coming in
The computer must be on with Chrome and WhatsApp Web open. Open the chat once if it has not been opened since the extension was installed.
Trial ended
For 15 days after the trial you can still see everything (changes are paused). Contact us to continue: nothing is lost.
